Here's the story.
My name is Matthew Morgan and, about 7 months ago I found myself in a pretty sticky spot. I was studying Filmmaking in university while doing some pizza delivery to pay the bills. I wasn't getting any money from my parents (nor did I want any), and my student loans were eaten up by my hefty rent payments.
It was a big problemo.
So I said f*ck it.
Something needs to change, I don't want to be slaving away for hours a day on my bike only to be paid £7 per hour. I want to get into online business, but I need something that I can afford to start.
And then I found copywriting.
I wasn't really sure what it was to be honest with you, at first I thought, "How the hell could anyone earn a living from this". I mean after all, it's just writing emails and landing pages.
But I looked a little further.
I found that if I could just land ONE client, every month, I'd be making DOUBLE what I was making with pizza delivery. With a fraction of the work.
So I started to study.
I looked up every aspect of the business model; how to learn it, how to get good at it, how to structure my emails, and how to close a client on a deal. And I won't lie, it took me a shit tonne of work. I spent hours every single day practicing, consuming, and sending cold emails.
Then I struck gold.
After about a month and a half, an email popped up in my inbox, simply titled "Call me".
This was it, this was my first client. If I could somehow not screw up this call, I would have a cool £1000 in my bank account within the week.
I landed the client.
Then another.
Then another.
I realised that this business works. It's not some, "Get lucky with a stock trade" or "Let Amazon FBA do the work for me".
Anyway, I'd have saved months of my life if I had just know what to do, and had someone there to walk me through it.
So that's why I build CB Academy.

At the end of the day, I'll go through your submissions and give you some feedback!
Wednesday
New niche day.
I'll post in a new niche for you to find clients in.
This will give you fresh ideas for companies you can reach out to, and will help you with client outreach.
For example:
"This weeks niche is going to be pest control companies. These companies advertise on Facebook and generally don't have great copy on their website. Here's a company I found that fits this niche."
You'll get experience with contacting companies and landing clients.
Friday
New video day.
I'll post a new video based off of what students in the group ask for!
This might be a way of finding clients, or some writing tips, or even just some mindset content to help you grow as an entrepreneur.
First video is going to be a highly valuable tutorial from my main program, as a thank you for taking action. (A client finding method)
